Though at first, Yamaroshi had supported the ideals of the red headed professor, the slapping across the face of one of the students caused a lapse in the boy's agreement with the the professor. In only a short space of time, the drama of the moment began to increase. The boy watched, startled as the scenery began to tear itself apart. Is this man a wind mage?. He became more puzzled as the professor changed his shape to a large bird. To Yamaroshi, it was unprecedented, and with the destruction of the environment around him he didn't even consider that the man was an animagus. There's a form of element magic that allows people to change shape?
The boy at first thought that this professor had won, but didn't take long to realize that this wasn't so. His transformation was the spark that seemed to signal to the purple haired girl to leave. Now, Yamaroshi had little time to make his decision. In his mind, there were three options: one, he could assist the professor in preventing the expedition. Two, he could stand there and do nothing. Three, he could go with them.
The second option seemed the most appealing, for it had no real consequences. If he stood there and did nothing, nobody would even care that he had been there. However, this option seemed spineless.
The boy considered the first option above all others. Yes, that would be the best thing. If he did, his and the professor's ability should collectively be able to thwart the group. For a brief few seconds, this was his chosen course of action. However, the purple haired girl employed what was obviously wind magic. As anyone who studied elements knew, earth magic was useless against wind, and Yamaroshi had to cross off option one.
This left Yamaroshi with his third option. He began to sprint toward the group, but found the wall of wind impassible. Not a problem. With two unpleasant cracks, he appeared close behind the dragon.
Not wanting to run after the purple haired girl, the brown haired boy used an application of his earth magic to form the dirt nearby around his body until it was in the shape of a gigantic dog with no hair whatsoever. Placing Kamaroshi's core stone somewhere in its head, he brought the dog to life.
What the hell do you think you're doing? asked the voice of Kamaroshi.
Well, I can't fight a wind mage, so I'm going to after them. All I need to do is pretend to be on her side, and I'll end her expedition from the inside out.
And how do you intend to do that, replied the irritated voice of the earth spirit.
I don't know right now. We'll have to think about it as we go along. I didn't have enough time to come up with a plan. Plan.....yes
OOC: Since this post is on a new page, I thought I ought to let everyone know that, since Sylph posted, Ashelle, Megan, Matilda, Ferris and Megan again have posted.
