Much to her frustration, her friend wasn’t waking up and Storm was proving to be impatient and worried as well. Roan’s breath was quickening in panic and she was frantically thinking of what she was going to have to do. It was the dragon that gave her the answer, nudging her in the back and pointing towards the school. The brunette wasn’t stupid, she knew what he meant. Sylph needed to get to the Hospital Wing, there was nothing either of them could do for her. They needed a professional, and someone much calmer then Roan was at the time. Suppressing foul memories that were returning rather quickly, the girl took the hint and basically got ready to move her friend a rather large distance. And she had no magic now: she had to do it by physical force.
“Why does fate hate me?” Roan uttered bitterly under her breath as she grabbed Sylph’s arm and wrapped it around her neck, using one hand to keep it there and wrapping the other around her friend’s waist as she lifted her off of the ground. The brunette was a small girl, smaller than Sylph. Normally she would not have been able to even lift Sylph had she wanted to, but apparently some trickster watched over her and her newfound strength was actually doing some benefit. Where the burden would have been impossible before it was now bearable.
Supporting the unconscious woman, Roan began to half-carry her towards the school, not even pausing to tell Storm what to do. The dragon was smart, he would know what he wanted to do. For now all the brunette could concentrate on was getting her friend to the Wing, and praying that there was no lasting damage.
