Wow...I'm so flattered. I have to say, I wasn't expecting such an introduction ^.^

Finding prey was not difficult in the forest of Fenris Fenrir, even with a family of hundreds to feed. Unfortunately, Deus Arachnis Ultimus, the patriarch of his own clan began to grow weary of the meals the forest presented him with. But there was one thing which Arachnis had considered a special treat. He seldom got an opportunity to make a meal out of humans. And thanks to Fenris Fenrir, a chance had come upon him. Come, my children. A feast has been served to us today.
The arcomantula began making its way toward the call of Fenrir, where he was certain this feast would be. Using his powerful legs to knock trees into a crooked, unnatural position, he was followed fairly closely by his clan. Though massive as they were, the largest among them was barely over half the size of Arachnis. He made his way toward his target. Inching closer and closer, until he spotted a rather large clearing of fallen trees. Anticipation spread throughout his entire body, from his face to the leg hairs on his back two feet. This certainly would be one of his better hunts.
The many decades of experience in hunting prey made Arachnis of many of the methods used by various types of spiders, and burrowing was not an exception. Using the same strength as he had to knock over the trees, the spider unearthed the roots of the tree which stood closest to himself and was still in tact after the dragon's take off. As it fell, the creature's massive size was put into perspective. Though the tree was tall, Arachnis's leg span covered its length completely. Finally placing his abdomen over the fallen tree, he thrust the upper portion of his body up, then back down, bringing his abdomen, which was still attached to the tree back up, pointing it toward the group. As he released the silk from his spinnerets, the tree took of, traveling parabolically toward the party at high speed, and with a vertex of at least twenty feet from the ground and roughly at their seven o' clock position at one hundred - fifty metres away.
Not waiting for it to hit, the spider moved forward, repeating the attack with one of trees which had been knocked over by the dragon's take-off.
'Perhaps it is not wise to fight now, but I know of something that can slow up their march. An ancient creature within this woods; one that I have only met once and barely escaped with my life. And this creature is always hungry; that winged Dragon will prove an interesting opponent to him. I think I'll formally introduce the school to one of the wood's larger denizens.'.
Whirling about in the direction toward the party, Fenrir bellowed throughout their minds, 'ECCE! DEUS ARCHANIS ULTIMUS!'.
