Somewhere in the woods, a hole appeared from nowhere. Out of this dark hole stepped two tall men draped in black. Between them was a disoriented girl. She was 5' 2" with platinum blonde hair. All in all, she looked just like Hayzie...
Tfel dropped her and then bent down to whisper in her ear.
"You promise us to never speak of what happened in Diadem."
He stood and left through the hole. Thgir dropped a letter on her and then left also.
Dear Fenris Fenrir:
I, the Dark Lord Unknown, present to you a present. Perhaps this will remind you of who is truly your enemy.

For the first part of the happenings, Hayzie had been asleep, only waking to find herself somewhere new to where she had fallen asleep. "What the..." she whispered as she seemed to unconsciously sit up and someone began braiding her hair. Confusion left her unable to resist, but something else, too. Hayzie didn't have the will to argue back.
Nor did she when two figures picked her up off the table and took her through a hole. At that point, disorientated was an understatement. Wherever she was... it wasn't a place she recognised. Though, rumours had reached her ears of a wood in the schools grounds belonging to none other than the monster Fenris Fenrir. All of a sudden, her green eyes widened. She remembered! Hayz could remember everything. She was Hayzie Marie Roberts, seventeen years old. She lived in Drakborough and owned a joke shop, but originally went to school at Magic Horizons in England. The Shadows had attacked Drakborough the night she was taken, and she couldn't fight back much because she was in a wheelchair.
Yet, as that thought, Hayzie's legs began to move. Widened eyes conveyed what could have been joy at the sight. She could walk again. The past two months had been a living nightmare, but the girl could walk again. Or could she?
Before the blonde even had chance to try, one of the figures leant down to her fallen position and whispered something into her ear. "You promise us to never speak of what happened in Diadem." On instinct, Hayzie nodded. There was no will there to do anything else. Of course she wouldn't tell. It was what she had been told to do, and so she wouldn't do it.
Not that Hayz was submissive, but there was something telling her to just do it. To be nice, and keep promises people asked her to keep. Then, they disappeared, dropping a note on the girl as they left. Picking it up, green eyes blinked and she shuddered. A present for Fenris? Fresh body? Her fight or flight instinct told her to fly... and fast. She knew Fenris would have no hesitation in killing her if he had the chance, especially after the way she had embaressed him in front of the whole school of Magic Horizons at the Christmas Ball.
But now there was the matter of steadying herself on two legs after a year of relying on a chair and wheels for transport. Pushing herself shakily into a standing position, Hayz instantly fell over as soon as she tried to take a step. "Oh my days... come on!" she whispered frantically to herself, trying once more to stand. All in all, she looked more and more like a toddler with every attempt she made.
As much as Fiona loved the air conditioned paradise of Talon's office, she eventually came to realize that she couldn't remain there forever. Bennett was getting antsy and not adjusting well to the life of an indoor dog. After having the whole African wilderness as his stomping ground, he found himself suddenly reduced to just a single river and forest, and now to just a single room. How could any dog stand such horrible confinement? He expressed this dissatisfaction to Fiona through rather loud and poignant barking- eventually, she got the point. It was a waste of time to try grading papers with an anxious border collie wailing like someone was ripping out his soul.
"Fine, fine." She grumbled, shoving the papers aside and turning off the air conditioner. "We'll go out. But just for a little bit, you hear? I can't spend my whole day traipsing through the forest, watching you smell things and chase dangerous animals." Bennett was ecstatic- jeez, maybe he should try being annoying more often. It certainly helped him get his way.
The pair set off out of the castle and down the hill, entering the forest with very little trepidation. Fiona had her wand with her and she knew most of the creatures in the forest- if she couldn't stun them, she knew she was at least able to reason with them. The only one that slightly frightened her was the great Fenris Fenrir, and even then she doubted that they would encounter him. The forest was gigantic, and the chances of them being that unlucky were very small. And while Bennett would be little defense against a lycan, he did make her feel much more secure. They had been together ever since she was a teenager, and he had never failed to protect her from whatever danger came their way. The fact that he was so obedient and loyal caused her to frequently allow him off his leash as well, something that didn't always lead to good results.
BARK! A stray squirrel scrambled out of a tree and Bennett's herding instincts kicked in. His eyes became entirely honed in on his prey, every sense finely tuned into the squirrel's path. Yelling at him did no good, and he was off before she even had the chance to follow him. Damn dog! He was going to keep her out here all day looking for him. That was a little more than a troubling matter- she had a defensive to plan, and she couldn't afford to waste any more of her time.
Her eyes suddenly chanced to notice a golden hair hanging from a branch right in front of her nose. The foliage on the forest floor was trampled and the sticks broken, a clear sign that someone human had passed by not too long ago. And that was definitely not good- the forest was off-limits to students. Were kids these days becoming stupider? With all the other danger around, she couldn't even fathom what kind of person would want to enter the forest and play with fate. It didn't take her long at all to spot the struggling form of Hayzie lying on the ground. She was young enough to be a student, but Fiona didn't think that she was. She didn't recognize her at all.
"Do you need a bit of help?" She said, extending her hand to her. "This forest isn't the safest place, especially when you're alone." Her eyes suddenly spotted the note lying on the ground, and curiosity took the best of her. No... it couldn't be. This must have something to do with the Shadows, and Fenris would likely already be on his way. It was terribly dangerous- not just for the girl lying there, but for Fiona herself. This girl was his prey and helping her out of the forest would be like stealing the beast's dinner. And a hungry lycan was something that she didn't want anything to do with.
"We need to hurry." She suddenly said, resisting the temptation to just throw the girl on her back and run. "We need to leave, now." There would be very little that she could do if Fenris got them into his clutches- at the very least, she might only be able to save herself.
(I am going away for a night. I will be back tomorrow. I ask that Hayzie remains where she is until I return. Give me a fair chance of keeping my present under the tree, Y'Know.

A raven silently flew down from above, and landed on a branch directly above the blonde girl. The bird watched curiously as the girl tried to re-learn to walk.
'Oh; I believe that you aren't going any where my dears',
Fenris had sensed that something wasn't right in that particular part of the Wood out of pure, animalistic instinct; for he had no way of being able to tell that a portal had been opened in the midst of his eden. Nor was he able to know that two giants had left a girl in the Woods for him, but after being drawn in that general direction out of instinct; a familiar scent ignited Fenrir's rage. She had was in his domain, that brat that he had nearly sacrificed himself for, and she was trying to get out. It puzzled the wolf how he suddenly caught her scent and why he hadn't been able to tell that she was there before, but now that he was alerted to her presence; there was no way that she would be able to escape the brambles and prying tree limbs of the Wood without being stopped by a very angry lycan. Yet other scents caught his attention as well; scents that had recently entered the Woods and scents that Fenrir remembered from their chance encounter.
Miss Fiona Rigaldi, a professor of magical creatures, and her canine compadre Bennet had traversed his lands before and Fenris didn't mind their crossing. However now he had a reason to be angered; they were headed straight for her. Silently running as fast as he could through the tangle of vegatation, Fenrir made his way toward the trio of interlopers that were now trying to move to the fringes of his forest, or so that's what their scent told him. Letting haste be his ally, Fenrir moved swiftly through the Forest until he came out in front of where the trio of humans and dog were clustered. 'I think that you've come at a bad time Miss Rigaldi; it would seem that you've come across someone meant as a gift for me. For I was told by one of the students that Miz Roberts was captured and being held by the shadows, and for her to turn up here suddenly; it can only mean one thing. That they are holding up their end of the bargain. I let certain shadow members use my wood as a place of relaxation, and in turn they provide me prisoners so that I do not starve; for your former Headmaster failed to realize that I had nothing to eat when I allied myself to the school. However, Talon Windwaltz the Saint has turned into Talon the Fool; I no longer will serve such a man.', burned Fenrir's thoughts into Fiona's mind.
Steadily advancing, Fenrir faked that he was just going to explain their chaotic position, but when he was 10 feet away from Fiona; he let out a snarl and slashed at her left leg with his forepaw. The impact of the blow was enough to draw blood and severe muscles, and it was more than enough to group Fiona to the rich soil of the Woodland. Giving her a "Don't try it" look, the Wolf turned his blazing eyes onto Miss Roberts and for a brief moment; they watered. There was still a part of Fenrir that viewed Hayzie as his lost daughter, buried deep beneath the hatred that he now bore for the girl, and soon salty droplets left his black; staining his silver-grey fur. 'Why child; why did you deny me?', came Fenrir's mournful voice into Hayzie's head. Soon wolf's fur turned into Man's skin and Fenrir stood as the raven-haired man that he was; his old glasses shining dimly on the brow of his nose and his beard trimmed somewhat neatly. "There was a time where I would have laid down my life for you child....", mused Fenrir sadly; taking Hayzie Roberts into an embrace.
"But no more"
With those whispered words, Fenrir's hug turned violent in nature as he tried to squeeze the life out of Hayzie as one would squeeze the juice from an orange. "I gave up so much for you girl!", bellowed Fenrir; tears mixing with the anger of his words, "I nearly died for you to save your life! I saved you not once, but twice; twice! And all that you gave me was humiliation, anger, and hatred. It was you that tore what little mercy that Fenris Fenrir had within him out that day; I can name all of those that have suffered because of what you did." Fenrir's grip was inescapable; only someone stronger than he could dare to intervine in his death embrace. Shaking her violently, the lycan's eyes lost their tears and were replaced with pure wrath and indignation. "You ruined me girl!", roared Fenrir into her face; his rancid spittle spraying onto her fair features, "IT WAS YOU THAT MADE ME INTO EVEN MORE OF A MONSTER! DON'T HIDE FROM ME! LOOK INTO YOUR CREATIONS FACE AND CRY!"

((Mr. Fenrir, I like the way you post, it reminds me of, well, days long past in any case. Forgive my cherrie for her rather rude interuptance of your...homicide session, but she was interested in meeting yourself; among other reasons for showing up...))
The raven flew down casually from the tree branch above, and landed lightly on it's feet, which were no longer those of a raven, but of a woman.
Despite the rather dramatic homicide attempt on the girl, Raven had a rather collected look on her face. She casually leaned against the tree she had just flew off of.
Sounding completely out of place, she began to speak to the Fenrir creature. "Killing her won't get you anywhere, you know," she said, sounding quite moody actually, "Even if you're planning on eating her, a fresh body tastes better than a suffocated cadaver."
"Now don't get me wrong," she added, "this is much to my ammusement, and I will do nothing to stop you. However, I will admit that keeping her alive is in my own best interest."
Crossing her arms, Raven waited for a response.

In the matter of minutes in which the events played out, Hayzie experienced two very conflicting emotions - relief and despair. One moment, a woman had come to give her a hand, but the next, a wolf was standing in the clearing, followed shortly by a man after the woman had been knocked to the ground. However, the man was one she recognised.
"Fenris," Hayz squeaked, taking a step backwards, falling over as quickly as normal. Though this time before she could hit the ground, the large man stopped her and pulled her into a shockingly soft, yet strong embrace after announcing he had laid his life down for her on more than one occasion. The complete good in Hayzie ignited a large wave of guilt rapidly swimming up and down her, leaving the blonde feeling ashamed of herself. "I'm-" she whispered, about to let an apology slip her lips, but before the word could be softly spoken, they were cut off by a sudden tight squeeze leaving the blonde feeling winded and she quickly found it difficult to breathe.
The words that were echoing around the clearing left naught of how much the male hated the girl in his arms. You ruined me, girl! he shouted, as he shook her as if she were a rag doll, causing that riddling pain of guilt to further itself, stinging into every mental nerve in her body and bringing tears to bright green eyes. On top of that, Hayzie's a throbbing pain was beginning to pound against every inch of her skull.
Turning her head to one side so Hayzie was facing away from the man, he shouted at her again. After two months of being captive in Diadem, this really wasn't what she needed. He told her to look at him, and she obeyed, looking right back into his face with her own fear filled green eyes lined with tears of mixed feelings. All the slight girl wanted to do was go home and let this nightmare end. It seemed as though she was simply a game of pass the parcel between madmen, and it was a feeling Hayzie hated.
Swallowing her tears, Hayzie looked away again. She couldn't do it. The blonde girl had ruined this man's life... she had ruined who he was, and yet he didn't deserve it. Surely nobody deserved to be ruined in the way Hayz had ruined his. "I'm sorry," she whispered, trying hard to move her chest to breathe between Fenris' body and arms. "I didn't mean for it to happen," Hayzie continued with a choked voice, true emotion displayed behind her words. There was no lie behind her eyes or in her tone, simply the truth.
Under any normal circumstance, those words would not have been uttered, or even thought. Though with only good inside her, it was the only thing Hayz could say.
Ignoring the animagus' words for the moment, Fenrir focused solely upon his daughter as she spoke from within his terrible grip. So she said that she was sorry; that she didn't mean for any of this to happen. "Well it's a tad too late to say such things, now isn't it my pet?",snarled Fenrir to Hayzie's face,"Your silver tounge had tricked me in the past, but not now; now I am aware of what your true guise is. Your not the child of a wolf, but a fox! You're a trickster; using your words to beguile me and using me to serve your own purposes. Why should I let you off the hook; why should I accept so meager an apology?" 'Because you still care for her' were the words of Dr. Rutherford that echoed through their shared mind. "No! I don't care for her any more; get out of my mind Richard!", shouted Fenrir in a deranged voice as he threw Hayzie from him in the direction of Fiona and the animagus; his hands then grabbing the sides of his head as waves of mental agony washed over him.
'Don't trick yourself Fenrir; you loved that child when you first thought that you had turned her and you love her even now. Stop fooling yourself and accept the truth!', said Richard's voice in his mind; pounding his message as a hammer would pound hot iron into any shape it wanted. Faling to his knees with a thud, Fenrir's hands clutched even harder to the sides of his head and his fingernails drew blood from his scalp as he desperatly tried to rid himself of that voice. But even though he would never admit it to himself; Richard was right about him for it takes one to know one, and living in the same body can grant interesting insights about who you share the body with. "Just leave me alone!", screamed Fenrir as his pupils dilated and his veins bulged from his increasing stress. Unable to contain what was building within him for much longer, Fenrir whirled about and slammed his right fist into the trunk of a tree; shattering the bark and leaving a nasty indent that would never go away. With his tortured frame heaving up and down with the release of such anger and pent-up stress, Fenris calmed enough to think rationally and slowly turned about to face the party of three.
And that was when he remembered the newcomer; a lady of rare beauty to be sure, and one that had chosen an interesting animal to morph into as well. Though her moody tone of voice and her mention of Hayzie didn't exactly please Fenris; any being that entered his domain was his to decide what fate would become that being in question. No one had the authority to make any such suggestions as to how he would deal with his captives and the raven-haired lycan could not resist the urge to "politely" recorrect the lady. "Perhaps it isn't beneficial to you if I do what I wish to Miss Roberts, but this is my realm Lady; I choose what happens to whomever enters my woods. A sole few are able to enter without me challenging them and that is because I made a bargain with Syrus Korodin; a bargain that allows me to feed on humans and survive. The only reason why I have yet to harm you is because of you affiliation to nature; your morphing abilities have saved you for now, but do not give me a reason to harm you Lady for I will not regret whatever I do unto you."
However Miz Roberts was another dilemma all together. He could not bring himself to kill someone that he considered to be of his own flesh and blood, but nor did he want her to walk off free as a lark. There were few options for him to choose from and none of them seemed to satisfy the hulking lycanthrope. He could tie her to a tree and force her to starve slowly until he thought of what to do with her; he could make her suffer in ways that she could never imagine and Fenrir would use anything that was available for him to use against her. However....there was one idea that he particularly was fond of at the present moment. "You're a tough coconut to crack, but I've got something in mind for you Hayzie dearie", said Fenrir; his voice no longer laden with grief for it had been replaced with cruel cunning, "They say that Christ hung on the cross for three days or so I've been told. But has there been any such proof that a being could survive three days on a cross. How would you like to be the first person to attempt the feat, Miz Roberts?"

Raven glared at Fenrir, her outward emotion showing no sign of liking the man.
'However,' she thought to herself, 'If he'd just see someone about his anger issues, I'd very much like to get to know him.'
"I believe you will regret killing her," Raven said, still glaring at him, "and hanging her up will surely do so."
Not waiting for him to respond to this, Raven continued, "I'd like to take her for you," she proposed, watching his face carefully. Before continuing, Raven paused to see his reaction to this proposal.

There would always be a part of her that respected all creatures, no matter how dangerous they could be, but one thing that she loathed was the great disregard for human life that Fenris had. How could he speak of respecting nature and territory if he could not respect human comfort? The thought of raising this point to him did jump to her mind, but she figured it was useless. His eyes were still locked on the girl (who she still didn't recognize) and it didn't seem like he was in the mood to barter. Her hand curled tightly around her wand, squeezing so hard that she feared it would snap. Who was she trying to kid? She wasn't brave; not at all. Not inside- her stomach was quivering so badly she felt nauseous.
"Having nothing to eat doesn't entitle you to eat people." She replied, wondering exactly how much power Talon had over Fenris (if any). Wasn't this something he probably should have mentioned to her before leaving her in charge? It was times like this that she wished that she had known the man better, just so that she might be able to solve these things. What would Talon have done? Bargained with him, probably. She was about to open her mouth to try and convince him to stop when he lunged and tore open her leg. Blood spewed out as she struggled to shift her weight onto her other leg- to no avail. She managed to gently lean her body back and found herself sitting down right across from Hayzie, right as Fenris scooped her up. Was there no way to solve this?
"Put her DOWN." She growled, pointed her wand right at Fenris. "I don't know what's going on here, but I don't like it. Nobody is going to get hurt, and you're going to calm the hell down before I see that you get removed from this forest. Permenantly. And don't think that I won't do it." Yes, she was a slight control freak. But even though the girl probably wasn't her responsibility (seeing as she wasn't a student), but she felt personally responsible. This lycan was completely out of line in every form of the phrase, and he was a hazard to any student he might happen to encounter in the future.
As for the animagus that was attempting to convince Fenris not to kill her, Fiona didn't particularly have the best feeling about her. She never trusted an animagus unless she knew that they were on her side. A raven was a terribly ominous bird, and she seriously doubted that the woman had just randomly decided on such a thing. Also, she spoke like she was a comrade of Fenris's, which made her just as angry at her as she was at Fenris. If she got through this, she would see that they were both removed from any part of the land even close to the school.
"You wouldn't dare." She said, struggling to stand to her feet yet failing. "You'd better not even try something like that, Fenris Fenrir." More blood gushed from her wound as she attempted to stand again, despite the pain that was quickly clouding her vision. No, she wouldn't fail. She couldn't fail. Seeing this girl in pain would be like being in pain herself, and she couldn't live with that.

"You're a tough coconut to crack, but I've got something in mind for you Hayzie dearie".
At this news, Hayzie's face paled. She was sat on the ground, far too fear-paralysed to move an inch. Fear widened green eyes watched the black haired man intently as he rampaged around, shouting at himself and digging his nails into his head. Repeatedly, her mind told the blonde girl to help him, but her body refused to move. Not that her common sense could blame herself... there was a dangerous man in front of her trying to talk himself into something... and that something wasn't what Hayzie had wanted, or expected to hear.
"They say that Christ hung on the cross for three days or so I've been told. But has there been any such proof that a being could survive three days on a cross. How would you like to be the first person to attempt the feat, Miz Roberts?"
A scared, timid squeak passed Hayzie's lips and she shook her head violently. "N-n-no," the blonde stuttered, lowering her head and allowing her hair to fall curtainlike over the girl's face. "I'm really sorry...for everything. You didn't deserve the way I treated you at the Christmas Ball... or any way I ever treated you," Hayz said meekly, looking down at the floor the whole time she spoke. "I don't even know why I'm here... but please....please just let us leave?"
Tears of confusion and hurt began to slip down her pale cheeks and onto the forest floor. Still not glancing up at the man, or looking towards either of the two women, Hayz's voice choked. "I'll...I'll go with the lady," she stated. nodding towards Raven... and then I'll be out.. just let the other woman go back to the school... but p-please just let us all leave. I didn't want to hurt you Fenris.. but I had to make you see somehow. Just... p-p-please don't kill me," Hayzie practically whispered. Never before would people have thought they would see Hayzie Roberts begging for release. However at that moment, she felt as though madmen pass the parcel had to end. She couldn't take it any longer.
ooc: Apologies for the delay..and you can smack me to pieces should you find the urge.
Ic: "Oh no Miss Fiona; I dare more than you can possibly believe. I was once the most feared lycan of all England. When the Tunnel's betrayed me they made a mistake. The abomination's curse made them all pay, little Hayzie beware; the true Fenrir is awake!", savagely said Fenrir as he thrust his face a few inches from Hayzie's; his eyes burning with new-found power and his smile more knaving than that of his current master. Beads of sweat slowly trickled down his face with each breath that he took, and if no one hadn't noticed the sheer magnitude of his madness; now the drapes had been pulled aside. Now no one, even if they were Talon Windwaltz or Syrus Korodin, could ever hope to stave off his desire to inflict pain and exact revenge on the girl who stole the last remains of humanity from the lycan.
No amount of begging or bargaining would be enough to change the lycan's firm mind. Hayzie's pleas had fallen upon deaf ears; he had left the graveyard on her pleas, he had spared the life of Aylen Hawkins at her pitious voice, but no more. However what annoyed him the most was the fact that the Raven Lady had the nerve to ask him if she could take him off of the woodland Lord's hands. Spinning on his heel and walking with annoyance on his features to stand directly in front of Raven, Fenrir's voice dropped to a dangerous level as he said, "You'd take her off of my hands and for what? There is nothing that I want that you can give me. I crave not for the touch of a woman, I have no use for any currency, and nothing can snag my interest....unless you were to find someone to replace Hayzie Roberts; somebody of equal values in my eyes. Otherwise Hayzie will remain here and if either of you attempt to make me do otherwise; well it's your head on the line."
Backing away from Raven so that he was a fair distance from all the women in the clearing. Clenching his hands into fists that could anxiously quivering at his sides, Fenrir's eyes darted back between all that were there like a cornered beast; yet his glance taunted them into challenging him. Yet Fiona's arrogance nagged at his thoughts; she didn't have the power to remove him from his home, and should anyone dare do such a deed they would have a terrible fate befall. "And if you tried to remove me, you'd best do it yourself so that you know that I'd never return, but you're forgeting that I could break you like a twig. I could retreat into the vastness of these trees and none would be able to find me; and if they did...they wouldn't come out intact."
"They put signs outside for a reason, Miss Rigaldi", crooned Fenrir like a loon, "For here there be monsters."

((OOC: Apology accepted. Talon told me of your computer troubles. No OOC smacking will be necessary. >.< ))
Raven smirked at his reply, and even chuckled a bit.
"Your rage impresses me, sir," she said, not at all frightened by his threats.
Chuckling again, Raven continued, "Oh I have no intention of paying you for her. As a matter of fact, I never had any intention of buying her anyway...just sort of, borowing her for a spell."
Leaning up against the tree she had descended from, Raven continued to watch Fenrir’s face as she spoke.
“She would then of course be yours still, and you could most certainly take her when you please, but I’d like a servant- someone who can work in my shop and take care of my errands and such. She’d be...”
Raven eyed Hayzie, choosing her words carefully, “...Off your hands and in your control...”
“Conversely,” Raven began again, her voice changed very slightly, so that now there was a hint of annoyance in it- but it was barely distinguishable. “I have no intent on demanding your release of her, and will by no means make any attempt to take her- unless of course you permit me to, but I will however ask, if you, Sir, would oblige to telling me whom you might consider of equal value to Hayzie. I am...most intrigued.”
