Marc looked at Seth in a completely human way. The way that inferred he thought the Werewolf man was completely out of his mind.
I don't think you know much about the BFC OR Miss Ashelle. He said, sounding much more confident now that he was back on his own 'turf' in the information department. "If I bit Miss Ashelle -even if she wanted me too- that is a capital crime for a Lycan! Back in the days of my grandmother it could be done, but their had to be consent papers filed with the Ministry. But that program ended because there was supposedly fake papers filed at one point. So yeah, I likely owe a fine for those sheep, but I have to stay on the straight and narrow from now on.
Marc looked off into the distance . . . clearly thinking about his Miss Ashelle in a whole new light . . . But then he shook his head.
"Besides, Miss Ashelle likes being magic. She is proud of her abilities and I wouldn't want to take that away from her. On the other paw, I like living in my Den by a stream, I don't know if I could get used to wearing robes and walking around on two feet all the time. What would I tell the children? What if they couldn't change, or weren't magic? I am not 'great' Mr. Seth . . . I would like to be, but I am not yet and Miss Ashelle wants a 'Great' mate. It 's important for her to have the Clan she has always wanted. She has given me so much. I couldn't accept it if she were to sacrifice her dreams for me. Marc sighed, and looked at him feet again.
I can read. I learned how with my Mother and Grandmother. They taught us on a book called Lord of the Rings . . . Marc suddenly laugh ruefully. It's so funny, this is the same situation as the Human Aragorn and the Elven Arawen, only I am not as great as a King. Ashelle will not choose me. She will stay with her kind the wizards.
