Willow tiled her head to the side, having her ears press against her skull. It still looked like her, same unique futures, just… on a completely a different species. He tried not to read her emotions, but he ‘knew’ she was overjoyed that he wasn’t freaking out to the slightest extent. Should he be freaking out? Why? Willow wouldn’t be in the castle much anymore, nor the feasting hall or in the Gryffindor tower, but she was still Willow. It was all that mattered.
Felix twitched slightly as he saw the form of his former fellow student transfigure quickly to a human again. She looked no different then she had always. She wasn’t any different. This time Willow didn’t try to hid, she crossed her arms and just stood there, just as Felix was doing. Then she asked a question that Felix didn’t even think twice about. He already knew his answer.
“Of course! Why wouldn’t I be? Heck, being a Lycan is awesome! Sure… I would probably die from the lack of magic… but, if your happy, why wouldn’t I be ok with it?” It was the truth, and Felix meant it. He wasn’t just saying it just because. He meant it. Willow looked at Aether with and interesting look on her face. Felix wondered if Willow even was okay with it herself. She had made the choice. The Gryffindor Prefect wondered if Aether had wanted that when Seth bit her, but he had been staring into other people’s emotions too much and for once his head hurt. It would be for another time.
“So… now what? A werewolf, and lycan and a reckless idiot are stuck in the middle of a haunted forest, what happens next? I suppose I better get out of here before Lord Fen-Fen--” Felix realized he had slipped into the name that Yamaroshi first called the Lycan King, a joke really, “—decided to play us a visit, eh?”
