He pushed her; she giggled, nearly fell over again. Why so violent, Gabby? Whatever, it was just their Thing. Everytime they'd met, at least one of them had gotten a little messed up, but that didn't stop them from hanging out again. Or whatever you called it, this thing they did. Gabriel said they weren't friends, but--
Whatever. She'd been over this before.
"If you still want to."
What did that mean? Did Gabriel not want to fight, anymore? She frowned slightly, chewed on her lip in a behavior she'd picked up from him. She had a tendency to pick up bad habits, like for example, Sparky's stutter, which came out all the time now whenever she got too emotional. Which, luckily, when she'd been Orca, hadn't been that often.
Sorta.
"We can nooot fight," she sighed. What were they supposed to do instead? Just walk around and talk, or something? Pffft. That might've been feasible with any other person, but this was Gabriel. It'd be more like 'walk around and Dolphin ramble drunkenly until Gabri just got sick of it and stabbed her in the boob' or something. And that sounded painful as shit, so that option was definitely out.
Maybe if she goaded him into attacking her, he'd like it better. Yeah, yeah, that was a good plan. The lycan inched closer, turned so she was facing him. They'd been calm long enough her eyes had faded back to the more human blue-green, and she turned those up to him, a slender grin on her tanned face.
"You don't wanna fight 'cause you're scared you'll loooose, huh?" she snickered, and abruptly stepped forward, invading his personal space for the umpteenth time that night. Daring, she put a hand on his chest, folded her fingers to catch hold of his shirt. She watched his face, ready to flinch back at any sort of negative reaction. He had cute hair, charcoal dark, just her type. Like Romulus! Only... not.
Her smile quirked downward momentarily, and she stood on tiptoe and leaned forward, free hand brushing at his his bangs. "Gabbyyy, your hair is in your eyes. You shouldn't hide them, they're so prettyyy." Gray eyes, another favorite. The smile came back, but without the usual flash of pearly whites, and her fingers moved to trace the scars on his face. She was probably bugging the hell out of him.
Wait.
She knew something that would piss him off even more.
It had something in it for her, too.
The lycan's hand shifted to the back of his head, and still on tiptoe, she leaned all the way in, her movement so quick it wouldn't give him time to object. A brief tingle ran through her body when her lips met his, and, no longer just a tease but an actual interest, she pushed herself closer, kissed deeper, harder, hotter, thoughts of Sparky left far behind.
It's all fun and games until...
Whatever.
