Floating lazily in the air behind the pair of wizarding folk, Oberon's knave peered about occasionally to either side with a gaze that seemed to combine both fear and hope. There were creatures around this place that scared him, yes, but usually none that could do more harm to him than he was already dealing with. However, for a young witch and wizard there were all sorts of ways to meet uncomfortable ends here. Not only would that mean that the Puck would be out an escape route, but the death of two individuals affiliated with Firefox University would likely, eventually, draw the interest of others from the school. If Firefox people in numbers were to start descending upon this cursed place, the tree sprite was certain that it would lead to some exceptionally nasty results from the inhabitants of this hidden place.
Though, such a threat could be just what the hobgoblin needed.
His eyes swiftly returned to attention as the witch asked about what they should do next. A sly smile formed on his face as his feet landed on the ground, and he lightly stepped towards them. "Quit now? When you've come so close? Oh, now why would you want to do that?" he asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he started walking ahead now, in the direction of the fortress center. He had devised another plan.
"Though, I should warn you two that there is a reason why those who happen upon this place rarely live to tell the tale. For one, it is almost impossible to find," said Puck. Why had it been so easy for the first pair of Firefoxians ever to happen upon the fortress in the same day? Well, after a year of trying, the tree sprite had managed to successfully take down two of the charms along the fortress perimeter to allow guests in. "And, second, these ruins aren't as abandoned as they may seem... But let's take a trip to the center, hm? So much fun to be seen!"
