She sat silently looking down at a clear bowl of water. She was teaching herself Divination's to see if she can foretell what will happen with the rebellion. "Why isn't this whole scrying thing working," Gwen muttered as she looked up at the night sky above. "And I know just enough Astrology to see that something bad is going to happen in the near future," she sighed as she laid back putting her hands behind her head and looked around to see if there was someone of threat around.
The rebellion was starting to take effects on the teens mind. The Slytherin hasn't slept well in weeks trying to come up with fool-proof plans. And her lack of sleep didn't really help much with her depression either. Closing her eyes, she used the hood of her hoodie as a pillow as she tried to come up with a plan. "Okay besides pulling a Guy Fawkes and blow up the ministry building with all officials inside, what else could work?" she asked herself a bit above a whisper.
((hope you don't mind if I join this. I'm really bored and need somewhere to rp. Oh, and sorry in advance if my post is really bad.))
Trish had been walking around aimlessly through the night. She was pretty much allowing her feet to guide her, as she had no idea what she wanted to do. The fifteen year old girl was sleepy in the slightest, so she refused to go to the common room.
After walking several stairs, Trish stopped as she noticed she was on top of the tower. Looking at the night sky a calm smile spread onto her face. The night sky was truly calming, and at that moment any worries she may have had seem to be swept away. Walking around for a few seconds, she suddenly heard someone whispering. There was someone up here? Why hadn't she checked before beginning to walk around?
Turning her attention toward the girl, Trish noticed that she must have been a little older than herself. The girl also appeared to be practicing divination, and she couldn't help but wonder if she had interrupted or not. She hadn't heard what the girl had whispered, but decided it wasn't any of her business. Trish hated getting into other people's business, as much as she hated it when it happened to her.
Slowly and quietly she decided to walk a few feet closer toward the girl. It would be best to be as quiet possible, so not to disturb her. "I hope I'm not bothering you, but I just wanted to make sure that you wouldn't mind me being up here." Trish said quietly and calmly. "It doesn't matter too me either way."
Hearing footsteps, Gwen quickly reached for her wand just incase. When she heard a female voice ask if she minded, the mulit-colored hair teen laughed to herself and sat up. 'Nah you ain't doing anything wrong, it's a free country do what you want," she spoke calmly as she pocketed her wand. Why did she have to ask if she could be there? Disreguarding this thought, she stood up and brushed herself off.
Gwen looked up at the sky and smiled weakly. She felt calm and relaxed when on top of the tower. Almost like there wasn't a worry in the world, and that it was hers for the taking. Looking over toward the other female, she gave her a small smile. "So it's a nice night to come up and think eh?" she asked kindly.
Hearing the girls response to her question, she laughed silently to herself. It was a pretty stupid question, but then again she seemed to have a habit for saying stupid things at times. "Yeah, I figured you wouldn't mind. I mean what kind of person would." she said looking toward the girl.
Turning her head to face the sky again, she allowed all thoughts to be cleared out of her head. Sure, she had some things she needed t think about, but she didn't feel like it at this second. Hearing the girl saying/asking that it was a nice night to think. A small small came to her face, as she realized it was true. "Yeah, it is. It's a good thing too because I have lots I need to think about."
'Don't we all these days," Gwen smirked as she tilted her head toward the sky. "I'm Gwen by the way," she smiled softly as she turned to face the other dark haired female. Closing her eyes again, she stopped her train of thought for another. Ok I need to tell Shad and Ryder about the blow up the ministry idea she nodded inwardly.
"This place is just so calming, like nothing else matters," she whispered as she watched her raven fly over head and land on her owners shoulder.
"I guess so." Trish replied still looking up at the sky. The girl then introduced herself, and she suddenly realized that this must have been the girl Shadow had told her to try and speak to. "Nice to meet you Gwen. I'm Trishelle by the way." said looking at Gwen as she introduced herself.
"I guess it may have been good for me to come up here after all." she smirked soon later. "I was told by Shadow that I should speak to you for more information about the rebellion." The last part of what she said was in a whisper just in case anyone else decided to appear.
Watching the raven fly toward Gwen, she looked up toward the sky to see another bird fly past the tower. It was probably just her owl out hunting for a good meal. "I have to agree with you on that." she said replying to Gwen's comment about how calming the place was. "Of course the night sky helps it feel so calming as well."
Pointing her wand up in the air above them Gwen quickly muttered a Muffliato charm. Pocketing her wand, she turned back toward Trish and smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well," she spoke softly and bowed lightly toward her. Standing up straight, Gwen looked down at the ground with a wicked smirk. "What is it that you wish to know about the rebellion?" she asked in an airy tone. Sweet someone else who is interested she cheered in her mind, but kept a calm and collected exterior.
Looking toward Lenore, Gwen smiled kindly and attached a small scroll to her leg. "Bring this back home, then stay and rest for the night," she whispered to the bird and watched it fly off.
Trish watched as Gwen had cast the Muffliato charm, well that's what she had assumed it to be anyways. She hadn't really paid much attention to what the girl had muttered. It wasn't really a surprise when Gwen had asked what she wanted to know about the rebellion.
"I would mainly just like to know a little bit more of the basic details about it. I've been thinking it over, and the more I do the more I sort of want to join." she explained in a calm tone.
Closing her eyes she wanted to know what Trish had been told. "Well that depends what do you already know. It would be kind of pointless if I were to tell you infoamtion that Shadow had already stated," she spoke softly. But when it did come time to tell her how would she word it. That they want to make the dark arts legal or the fact that the BFC and the ministry teamed up to kill off the lycans.
The seventh year waited silently for Trish's responce.
Trish thought for awhile after Gwen had spoke. She didn't really know a whole lot, mainly what they were basically planning to do. "Well, all Shadow really told me was that you planned on taking on the ministry and making the world more preferably." she explained knowing that it wasn't much. She thought to herself on what would may be the most important thing she'd need to know. As she thought she couldn't help but think of what her family would think of her for what she was considering. Her father was probably the only who'd be even slightly proud of her, as her mother would be disappointed, and her sister would be completely disgusted.
"I guess the first thing I'd need to know is why exactly your taking on the ministry. Then, it may be nice to know what you plan on changing if it all succeeds well." Trish said looking toward Gwen.
"Well everyone involved has their own reason to take it down. Some want to put an end to the killing of lycans. Others, like Shadow, want to make the country a better place. Then you get those who want to make a name for themselves and have no reason other than obtaining glory," she explained softly. "So now I ask you, what do you have against the ministry?" she questioned locking eyes with the dark haired Slytherin.
Trish thought for a few seconds, as Gwen explained the various reasons people had joined the rebellion. She couldn't stand the thought of the killing of lycans, but she also sort of wanted to make her father proud of her. Not knowing how to exactly word her answer, she turned up to face the sky. "To be honest I'd like to help put a stop to the killings of the lycans." she stated calmly.
Gwen nodded closing her eyes. Reaching into her pocket, the seventh year took out a single piece of parchment and her wand. Pointing her wand at the parchment, words started to appear.
There is an astronomy club for those of us willing to put an end to the corruption. Don't let anyone see this. We will meet in Professor Murno's classroom. We will send word when the meetings are.
Folding it up, she gave the parchment to Trish and smiled softly.
Trish took the note that Gwen had handed to her and read it immediately. After she had read the entire note, as well as converted it to memory she grabbed out her wand. Muttering Incendio she dropped the note and watched it burn in flames. There now she wouldn't have to worry about anyone reading the note. She stomped on the ashes, mainly just out of habit, and turned to look toward Gwen. There didn't seem to be anything else she needed to know, so she figured that may have been it.
Suddenly a question popped into her head, and Trish wondered if she should mention it or not. "About the 'Astronomy Club' will there be a secret word at all for the members to speak in order to enter?" she said in a soft voice.
Looking down at the ashes, a smirk crossed her features. Very smart she mused as she listed to Trish's question. "None that I know of, but if there is I will tell you as soon as I can," Gwen replied softly. Closing her eyes deep in thought, Gwen tried to think of more things that needed to be known or said. "Do you think you can help us teach those who can't cast a patronus how to conjure one?" she asked softly.
