Sam sat on the ledge alittle. He was looking at the grounds at night, enjoying the scenery. Sooner or later he moved off, standing against it as he leaned on it. Leo sat on the ledge, curled alittle as he watched the grounds too. Sam continued to think, pouting alittle because he hadn't seen Lilly since that night by the lake. He figured it was because they had some exams to take and what not. Nonetheless he missed her alot. The night was cold, but there was a nice wind that seemed to play and run through his hair. He smiled though, he always liked moments like this and he just closed his eyes, smiling and listening to the sounds of the night.
That was before he had to go home. His brother had come here, but just like he had been, Jonathan or Jonny was under acception for what had happened a long time ago. In actuality, it had been Sam's own fault and it still never helped him to release the slight guilt he always felt, even when JD said to let it go. He had embraced what had happened, but Sam only until now begun to let it go. By now his brother and him were best friends once more. They had their separate lives, yes, but somehow they managed to stick close by. That wasn't really all his concern at the moment. He was dwelling on his trip home. What was left of his family were taking care of the dragons the family had raised, etc. Sam's dragons that he personally had grown up with and raised were alittle distraught by him not being around. It broke part of Sam's heart to know that they had gotten sick along with some other dragons. He had gone home to try and help. A long story short, the Family had lost a couple dragons, but not until two more came into the world. It was an interesting time, but Sam couldn't help but feel alittle bad. He left Lilly with nothing more than a note that told her he had to go home and now because two dragons died of illness. Sure two more was a happy note, but that didn't completely dampen his sadness.
Sam sat on the ledge of the tower, watching the night. He was trying to cheer up what was left of his slight depression from going home. As he sat, Leo climbed up to his shoulder and nudged as well as licked his cheek. Sam smiled and finally got the message. There was never sadness without happiness afterwards. Sam had to cheer up, that was the only thing left to do, but be happy. The music of the night seemed to make Sam more at ease and he relaxed, letting go his thoughts and just stay at peace. Well that had been until he recalled Lilly and that was the only reason why his peace and happiness went alittle down. He really did miss Lilly and no one could blame him.
