Morgan really mean business, it was like she had the whole thing mapped out somewhere in her dorm, and a long checklist to pair it. Felix was just a pawn, or a push pin in this case, and he was just being used. Felix was normally one to use other people, to have them be his pawns. What drove Morgan? What motive did she call her own? She obviously had one, someone like her must have a hidden motive. When Shadow wanted to take it over, he wanted the glory and fame. With Gwen, it was the passion and fun. With Felix, it was the thrill and adventure. Morgan had no need for that, she cared for things but not enough to do as such, she had no need for fame, so what drove Firefox's Ravenclaw Prefect?
"I told everyone I had on my list for the anti-rebellion group before I was arrested to Malachy, if he hasn't shown it to you, bug his for it. I can give you a revised list though, seeing more people have come into play. I have a question for you about Professors, I need everything you have on Professor Ryder Munro. He has some secrets he'll tell know one. He'll betray everyone in a blink of an eye. It's like he doesn't care for anything, like he thinks this is just a temporary game or something to see how high he can get on his level, excuse the muggle terminology. But, do you know anything? Or who to talk to about him?"

But, there was no ulterior motive for the prefect. She was doing what she thought was right. Okay, so some of it was the sheer pleasure of putting together an intricate puzzle; hatching a plan, and seeing it fall into place, but really, most of her desire to help was just that, wanting to help. When he offered a revised list of people, she said, "Please, if you don't mind. I'd like to have it." Her request was polite, and served with a smile. Felix's talent for being in the middle of everything might just come in handy, if she handled him correctly.
His next question left her a bit unprepared. What did Professor Munro have to do with any of this?
"Well, I don't know much about the man. His father was Scottish, exiled from The UK for openly cursing a muggle. His mother was Spanish, a member of an influential wizarding family, but not the Ramirez's, the ruling Wizard family. She was also a squib. As far as I know, he was privately tutored in his parents' home outside of Barcelona. He has two siblings, Rebekah and Marco. He's the middle child, and has had a few minor brushings with the scant authority previously in power in Spain."
Morgan blushed as she considered that not everyone researched their professors as thoroughly as she did. It was only right, since they were responsible for filling her mind, she had to trust them, didn't she? She continued, ignoring the redness of her face. "Anyway, about a month before teaching here, he was in a serious accident. He almost drowned when he was at the beach. Afterwards, he applied to teach here.
"As for what I've personally observed, he's genteel, charismatic, but distant. Like he doesn't want to get too close to people. You're right about him, somewhat. He's out for himself, and will do exactly whatever is best for him. I don't think he's a two face, per se. I just think if you want his help, you'd have to make it very attractive for him, and make sure the other side doesn't come up with a better offer."
Of course, as she was talking about the professor, the little clues started to click. How haggard the professor had looked during the winter. How he seemed to avoid the iron in his classroom. What Ananda had said about her kelpie being gone. Professor Munro was not Professor Munro. He was, in fact, the kelpie, Skullwhite. Which of course begged the question of what had happened to the real Munro. She answered that one herself, his near drowning had been fatal. Although, it would have been highly uncomfortable for the kelpie in the salt water. So maybe he hadn't drown him personally, but he was using the fact of Munro's death to hide. But, why?
She kept her discovery to herself. It wasn't her secret to tell. Besides, what would Felix do with the info anyway? Probably blab it to anyone who'd listen. She could tell he felt some sort of grudge against him. Not that it made sense. Why be angry with a creature for its nature? And all of the switching sides was in a kelpie's nature. Their loyalty was as fluid as water. So, her face betrayed nothing of what her mind hid. She'd have to double check her hunch anyway. No need to tell the Gryffie something that might not even be true anyway. "I've researched all of the professors. Not just because of my plans, though it has come in handy. I mean, how can I trust my mind to someone I know nothing about?"

Felix knew. The man had more secrets. He just wasn't some kid with an odd childhood. Professor Ryder Munro was not Professor Ryder Munro. But who what he then? Morgan seemed to think that Felix skepticism was more then needed for a Professor. She, the Ravenclaw she is, had apparently 'researched all of the professors.' Felix didn’t doubt it yet he still say it in his head with a strong air of sarcasm.
Still listening as Morgan went through the entire biography of the Professor as if She had just done a thesis on his autobiography. It was one thing that Felix admired about Ravenclaws, to them, knowledge was like food, like 'human food' you can stop it from showing when you have grown.
When Morgan had finished, Felix watched, trying to read her. The Ravenclaw Prefect was obviously contemplating something but still she acted like she was just like normal. Morgan was like a blank wall filled with information, there was no way Felix would get information from her with any slips of the tongue or by any other means. He would have to wait until she told him by her own will.
“Phfth! The perfect cover up story for some deep secret. A normal fairytale with a few life twist and just enough hidden secrets to satisfy someone who wants to figure out who they really are. Just enough clues to get the person who is digging to stop and forget their suspensions about him. No offence. But, I know there is more to it yet I can’t figure out. Thanks anyway, I’m sure the clues will help, maybe I should do the same with the Professors, well never know what former heroes and villains we have teaching us.” Felix paused, realizing he was still thinking and not talking. “Anyway, I have no interest in his help, even if I was not so sure who he really is. I would never want the help of someone who would gain the trust of some people and pretend to be their leader only to turn them in and walk away like nothing happened… But still, thanks for the info and advice Morgan.”
Felix took a mental shovel and started to dig through his archaeological site of his brain for questions he had for Morgan, he had a lot in the past, but they were long forgotten. Quickly remembering something, Felix rummaged through his pocket until he found a piece of paper.
“Oh, I totally forgot. I got some items from somewhere that I think will be very useful. Draven’s Magic down in Drak’ee past the Jokers Bar. Anyway, if you do go there tell Lilly that you ‘need some stuff like the things you gave Felix’. Anyway, wow, I say anyway a lot, anyway, one of the items are messenger papers… If one person had one piece of paper from the same enchanted batch, and they write ‘To So-in-So:’ and then their message, it will immediately show up on yours, no matter were you are! I haven’t been able to test it out yet, seeing how busy I’ve been, and lazy, but I’d like you to have a sheet so that I can contact you if it’s important! Here…’”
Felix uncrumpled the paper and handed it out for Morgan to take.

Morgan accepted the paper, It wouldn't be hard to disguise it as a sheet of notations. She just needed something to discern this one from her real note papers. She pulled out a quill and attempted to scrawl a quick sketch in one corner, which propmtly disappeared. Dang. She put the quill away and pulled out her wand. a quick incantation later, a small mark like an inkblot appeared. if one looked closely, they'd begin to see the emblem of the Welsh Dragons Quidditch team, but as most people would only give it a cusory glance, it would just look like a blot.
She tweaked the symbol a bit, taking away the 'WD' lettering. She kept the dragon's head the way it was, and added 'FM' to stand for 'Felix to Morgan'. There, two layers of protection. It was known that she was a Welsh Dragons' fan. If anyone did look at the symbol closely, it would only look like Morgan had bought some of their merchandise, which she had. She put the paper in the sheaf of other Welsh Dragons paper.
"Thanks for telling me about Draven's. I'll be sure to check it out," she said as she stuffed everything back into her satchel. "You know, Felix, I get the feeling you're used to being in the position of running things. Well, me too. So, I suggest a compromise. Why don't we work together, use each others' strengths to a mutual advantage? I mean, you have an obvious talent for knowing what's going on, and I'm probably the best researcher you could ask for. What do you say, partners?"

Felix watched closely as Morgan first, vainly, tried to mark the paper. Felix wondered what random person would revive such mark on their own magiked paper. Smiling at a random chain of thought, Felix watched even more closely as Morgan use a magic symbol or two to mark the paper again. He would most definitely have to study such logos of marks later. The magical marks keep their place, so Felix guessed it worked. He was glad that next time he would not have to track down Morgan.
Morgan’s proposition to Felix was a complete shocker. He curled the side of his mouth up for a laugh before stopping himself thankfully, for he thought that Morgan’s suggestion was in jest. Considering all tweaked views and manners of the deal, Felix finally responded after deep thought that only lasted a jiffy. He was quite embarrassed and proud that Morgan would think of a thing.
“Umm… yeah! It sounds like a good deal to me! Thanks! I’m honored to be in a partnership of sorts with you Morgan! I guess that means I now have a real excuse for eaves dropping and info sneaking, eh?”
