“Good morning, care to let me in to see the Headmaster?”
If anyone had been standing in the hallway leading to the Headmaster’s Office they would have been really confused as to why there was a voice speaking. But as it was, there were no students there that sunny morning. They would have noticed the clicking noise of stone on stone too if they had been walking there with Roan, but they wouldn’t have seen anything. The lycaness took great care these days if she was going to enter the University. More often than not Song at the very least would come with her and shroud the woman in her shadow powers. This time Aiden had decided to tag along because he adored Talon and jumped at the chance to see his friend. With the way Roan saw him react when she suggested they go see her mentor her heart squeezed and she almost regretted the coppery dragon’s choice to come back to his mother.
Now she stood invisible with Aiden at her side and Song on her shoulders in front of the Phoenix. The statue looked around confused while searching for the source of the voice. Roan smiled and looked at the sleek black dragon draped lithely like a cat, giving Song the hint that she had to drop the illusion. If the dragon could grin she would have, as it was her dark eyes twinkled with mirth as she let her powers recede from the group. Now the Phoenix could see her and was not amused. But she had greeted him so there was no reason to not allow her passage in to see Talon.
As soon as there was space the copper dragon took off into the Office. He was obviously happy which was his nature, though Talon might find him a bit chubbier than when he last saw him. With Roan’s restrictions she didn’t let the dragons wander as much. The lycaness took her time coming in, having been in the Office many times before. Her long brown hair was down and she wore jeans with a shirt of Hufflepuff colors. There were traces of earth on the jeans, a subtle reminder of her Forest life.
While the girl was smiling as she came in with the dragons, the reason she was there was something to laugh about. Roan had some uneasy conversation to have with her old mentor, but she hoped that bringing Aiden would help loosen him up and relax before they had to have it. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything Talon, it’s Roan.” The woman said as she walked in, hoping he wasn’t too shocked by the excited dragon.
