The humid air of the green house brushed against the Herbology professors skin as he hurriedly opened the door to the make-shift class area of the green house. Cold air rushed in but was quickly turned away back into the frigid outside world. The door slammed with a loud smack. The professor, grasping a large mug of coffee, Rushed past desks and chairs to set his coffee down onto his desk. Taking one last sip he set his coffee down and hurled his jacket onto his desk chair.
Leseur Follet was late, later than he would have liked to be, anyway. Only a couple minutes remained to set up his lesson before his students would come waltzing through the door and start chatting and mingling. With the delay, the professor hadn't had as much time to do his hair as he would have liked. A few stray strands fell into his face, which he quickly tried to place back into a neat alignment.
A piece of chalk was quickly snatched from the desk and the professor was off and dragging a large chalk board to the front of the class. Furiously, the professor began scribbling words and diagrams onto the blackboard. The sound of chalk clicking and scratching echoed throughout the silent greenhouse.
Quickly the board took form and explained the plant they would be learning about today and its various parts, The Stunning Sponge. The sketch on the board, while not very artistic and rather sloppily put together, depicted something that looked like a sea sponge. The center was hollowed and small dots around the surface of the figure were made to symbolize the sponges pores.
Lifting up his mug in triumph Leseur Follet leaned against his desk and sipped his coffee while waiting for his students to arrive.
