Phugsius had been quietly listening the whole time. He knew nothing about magical creatures so it was hard for him to want to say anything. He just watched the Wyverns and got more and more disturbed as Sylph went on about the poison, and how all of them carried a different one... yikes.
He was even more disturbed when she told them that they had to get poison out of one. Was she crazy? That professor was asking them to do this as an assignment. However, when she basically said obtain the poison however you want an eager flame shot into his eyes. "Piece of cake" He took a potion flask and a poison identification potion.
He quickly targeted the nearest Wyvern, "Stupefy!" and sent a stunning spell flying at it, stunning it for the moment. "Incarcerous!" Ropes shot out of the ground restraining the Wyvern especially focusing on the tail. Phugsius brought the bottle up to one of the restrained Wyverns barbs and waved his wand at the ropes to tighten slightly causeing the poison to cover the tip of the barb and start dripping into the potions bottle. After the bottle was sufficientle filled he mixed the poison identification potion with the poison. He watched the potion turn white. Haemotoxin. After he had done all this he stepped a good distance away from the Wyvern. "relashio!" The ropes snapped and the wyvern was free to move again.

1. What kind of venom did you identify? How confident are you of your result?
I identified a white colored Haemotoxin in the wyvern I caught. I don't know if it's right but I figure it's what you told us to do.
Your answer is correct, however, you could have tested the toxin on one of the rats provided if you wanted to be sure. 4/5
2. If stung by a wyvern, what precautions would you take? What would you not do?
If stung by a wyvern i'd kill it then try to identify the poison it carried. With that knowledge try to make an antidote. If none was available i'd wrap the wound and hope it wasn't very potent.
I would not, however, let the Wyvern live to sting me again
Do you not think attempting to capture more venom for identification might be a foolish risk given the circumstances? Furthermore, if you were in wyvern territory it is unlike that you would have the necessary equipment to brew an antidote. Seeking professional healer advice is a priority. I also disapprove of your view that an animal should be put down simply for attacking a human. Animals only attack when threatened in some way; does it not seem unfair that you should seek vengeance on a creature that was acting on instinct alone? 1/5
3. Frost wyverns are extensively hunted in parts of their range. What measures would you suggest to ensure the survival of this species in the wild?
I would suggest setting up a guarded reservation for them.
I would have liked to have seen a great deal more thought here. Reserves are but one measure, and often it is a measure that fails to work with fauna that are mobile. 2/5
With a swish of his wand Phugsius sent the paper over to the professor. His attention was grabbed by a movement below his line of vision. A wyvern slinking around his feet... He stood perfectly still now and made no noises.
For obtaining your venom: 5/5 – excellent spellwork. Simple spells like those are often the best things to use when it comes to animals such as these, though they may not work on an adult without a fellow wizard. Like dragons, wyverns are somewhat resistant to magic.
12/20 in total.
