Felix woke up with a whole new energy… it was like waking up after having someone I.V. coffee in your veins all night long and the coffee has 12 packets of sugar.
It was very odd for him to wake up on a Monday morning with such enthusiasm, prior Mondays are normally a day of sleepwalking and drowsily walking into things like walls that you where certain weren’t there the day before and just blame it on the magical universities mysterious ways.
He got dressed in a plain white t-shirt with a blue short-sleeved open button up the front shirt over it, and jeans and decided to where flip-flops for the last time before the cold weather came in. He knew that that would be toe suicide but be thought it still worth a try.
Felix exited the Gryffindor common room after saying hello to his two suit of armor friends, Jimmy and Jerry, who where extremely clanky and jolly today. They said there armor was getting rusty so Felix offered to pick up some oil for them and wondered if there was a spell that would do the trick.
He walked down the hall and was lost in thought about how to make WD-40 come out of your wand when he mindlessly started to descend down the stairs forgetting he was wearing flip-flops. He immediately tripped and started to fall down the stairs but he attempted to grab the thick marble railing and fell onto it sending him down the barrister at high speeds. Soon after Felix thought he had broken the sound barrier he was thrown off and sent flying on the floor, barefoot, exhausted and joyful after his unexpected ride.
His wand had miraculously only left his jeans on the bottom steep and after retrieving it he Accio’ed his flip-flops which came zipping down faster then he did.
He was now right in front of the great cathedral doors of the Feasting hall and after a few steps entered the room full of students, and the pleasant aromas of food.
Sitting down at the Gryffindor table he let out a sigh and thought very hard of two fried eggs, two buttermilk pancakes with fresh honey butter, sausage, and a large glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. With a smile all the food he had just imagined popped in front of him and he started to eat it as if he had never tasted anything so good.
He could get use to magic.
