I seriously love you guys sometimes, you know that?
Jackson should have died after putting out Bad, so all the kiddie diddling wouldn't be what we remembered. Like Elvis should have died long before he was fat.
...
scratch that. Michael Jackson should have died sometime during 97' so this could still have happened. Jarvis Cocker is seriously awesome.
and now, a joke:
Q: What's Michael Jackson's favorite nursery rhyme? A: Little Boy Blew.

Personally, I think a few songs were pretty good. I agree that he did a LOT of crazy things, but also that he was an icon to people that loved him. I don't however, agree with all that he did or stood for. I also don't agree with all of the jokes people make about him now he's dead (I've heard the Etch-a-sketch one, the Lego Bricks one, the children's ward one, the Alex Ferguson-comparison one and several others), yes they CAN be funny, but they are harsh and cruel. I also don't like speaking ill of the dead, and those jokes are speaking ill of him.

Actually, Jackson shouldn't have died. The guy was fifty years old. He has a son who's 12 and a daughter who's 11. He has a clone who's even younger. He had a family who loved him - the media isn't everything.
The affection of strangers shouldn't change when or not a person should die, and be forced to abandon their children. And if it is, then I'm sure Michael Jackson has enough admirers across the world who recognize him for the genius he was to outweigh the idiots who seriously believe he's a terrible person and don't just like making up jokes about it.
As the years go by, generations will think less about the child molestation case and remember Jackson only by his music.

You make a lot of sense Talon, I mean people would rather be remembered for the good things that made them famous rather than the bad. Personally, I'll remember him for his music. Never followed the molestation case too much.

I think Hitler is a pretty cool guy. eh oversaw the creation of dams, autobahns, railroads, contributed to the design of the volkswagen, greatly improved German infastructure and industry, saved the German economy and doesn't afraid of anything. (except Russia)

Even though I should preface this by saying that I think comparing Michael Jackson to Adolf Hitler is absolutely ridiculous and as similar as comparing Mel Gibson to Torquemada, I'm going to say this.
